Elegant affairs Inc. was established in November 1972 by Justin Scott out of genuine love for the music business and a growing need for quality services in the field of entertainment. In 1990, the company added another dimension to its services – that of event planning and promotions which included planning many bridal showcases in South Florida, Jamaica and the Bahamas, as well as magnificent galas for several hotels. March 1997 was a turning point for Elegant Affairs Inc., the company expanded all its existing services and opened its first Bridal boutique in Hallandale Florida – Elegant Brides. Elegant Brides created waves in the industry by becoming the first bridal boutique in South Florida to offer a complete line of African inspired and traditional wedding dresses, tuxedos and accessories, thus being honored as new business of the year by the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce in September 1998.
